MystiBox Mystery Box Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 5 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase of all MystiBox mystery boxes from www.mystibox.com.au and all MystiBox vending machines.

By purchasing a MystiBox mystery box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About MystiBox

MystiBox sells sealed mystery boxes containing randomly selected products. The contents of each mystery box are unknown to the purchaser until opened.

Mystery boxes may be purchased through the MystiBox website or from authorised MystiBox vending machines.

2. Mystery Box Contents

Mystery boxes may contain a variety of genuine products, including but not limited to:

  • Toys

  • Gadgets

  • Collectables

  • Accessories

  • Novelty items

  • Lifestyle products

  • Electronics

  • Promotional merchandise

  • Other miscellaneous products

The contents of every mystery box are selected at random before sale.

No customer may choose or request specific items.

3. Random Allocation

Each mystery box is randomly packed prior to sale.

Purchasing multiple mystery boxes does not increase or guarantee receipt of any specific item or major prize.

Every mystery box is independent of previous purchases.

4. Major Prizes

Some mystery boxes contain premium prizes ("Major Prizes").

MystiBox currently offers three Major Prize categories:

  • Rank 1 Prize

  • Rank 2 Prize

  • Rank 3 Prize

Major Prizes are randomly inserted into mystery boxes before distribution.

Not every mystery box contains a Major Prize.

5. Current Prize Odds

At the time this policy becomes effective, the approximate odds of receiving a Major Prize are:

These odds are approximate across the applicable production run and are based on the number of Major Prizes inserted by MystiBox.

The vast majority of mystery boxes contain standard mystery items rather than Major Prizes.

MystiBox may change prize distributions, prize pools or odds for future production runs or promotions. Where changes occur, the updated odds will be published before those mystery boxes are offered for sale.

6. Promotional Images

Images displayed on our website, vending machines, brochures, advertisements and social media are intended to illustrate examples of products or prizes that may be available.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional images do not represent the guaranteed contents of any mystery box.

Purchasing a mystery box does not guarantee receipt of any specific product or prize.

7. Prize Redemption

If your mystery box contains a winning prize card, voucher, redemption code or other approved winning mechanism, you must contact MystiBox using the instructions provided.

MystiBox may request:

  • proof of purchase;

  • photographs of the winning item;

  • the original winning item or redemption token;

  • identification reasonably required to verify the claim.

Failure to provide reasonable verification may result in the claim being declined.

8. Prize Availability

If a promoted Major Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond MystiBox's reasonable control, MystiBox may substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater retail value.

9. Fraud and Abuse

MystiBox reserves the right to reject any prize claim where it reasonably believes:

  • the winning item has been altered or tampered with;

  • the claim is fraudulent;

  • duplicate claims are submitted;

  • false information has been provided;

  • these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product supplied by MystiBox has a major failure or does not comply with the consumer guarantees provided by law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

However, the random allocation of mystery box contents, including receiving a standard item instead of a Major Prize, is not considered a defect, fault or failure to comply with the Australian Consumer Law where the mystery box has been accurately described.

11. Refunds

Please refer to the MystiBox Refund & Returns Policy for information regarding refunds, replacements and exchanges.

Mystery boxes cannot be returned simply because the purchaser is dissatisfied with the randomly allocated contents or did not receive a Major Prize.

This does not affect any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MystiBox is not liable for disappointment resulting from the random nature of mystery box purchases.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

13. Changes to These Terms

MystiBox may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any updated version will be published on www.mystibox.com.au and will apply to purchases made after the effective date of the revised Terms.
